Wool and linen are referenced in the scriptures many times…
wool approx. twenty times, however linen, fine linen, pure linen 107" times ... it is referenced many times to signify a form of purity before G-d.
Fine Linen (Purity) was most interesting. Made from Egyptian flax, it was finely woven, brilliantly white, and bore a special name, "byssus". This material was used for garments for royalty and persons of rank and has been found in the tombs of the Pharaohs. Linen in one tomb was found to have 152 threads per inch in the warp and 72 threads per inch in the woof.
The fine-twined, white linen speaks of righteousness and typifies YAHshua, the Son of Man, spotless, pure, and without rebellion to G-d.
In fact so in harmony with G-d that the Messiahs prayer is that we become one with the Father as He was one with Adonai..
It is written; Yechezkel/Ezekiel.44:17"And it shall come to pass, that when they enter in at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments; and no wool shall come upon them, whiles they minister in the gates of the inner court, and within"....
Perhaps we need to see that the L-rd Has a definite distinction between wool and fine linen as He does with the types of Priesthoods we see today, one has a true desire to speak into you the truth of G-d, And another the truth watered down, diluted to a point it blesses your hearing, however does nothing in which to empower you to get up from you sickbed, your impurity, that stuff in your life keeps you from YAH's best. The watered down version that keeps you from going full throttle for the lord so to speak…
To see the difference in Priesthoods lets read in the time of King David...2:sam 8 There were two priests with him one was Zadok and the other Abiathar who had run away from the slaughter of the priests and run to David for protection...both were with King David,...however one ( Abiathar) is from the house of Eli a priesthood that was cursed By YAWEH, it is "Lightly Esteemed" does not ’have YAWEH's favor…
Yet even so allowed to go forward, …
Always to be with us, yes it is here now. The other a true priesthood the kind that stands the test of time, speaks a living word in time for you, totally led of the Ruach/ spirit of G-d, carrying the ark of truth into your life. ...The very foundation of life itself.
Perhaps this is a form of wool Vs linen…
A mixture in the messages when a little spirit thrown in (linen) to get you to receive, and a little flesh (Wool) designed to quench the fire of Adonai ' through the Ruach hakodosh, which in turn purges out the impurities in our lives… the washing by the water of the word is so important for the greater service. And so with that you are deceived to walk unworthy before the L-rd even possibility toward certain destruction.
This is where learned discernment, years of sitting at the masters feet comes in spitting out the wood, stubble and hay, fleshly, carnal worthless jabbering, ... the things not required to walk a Pure and Holy upright (The Bride) Type of walk with G-d … True Priests lead you into righteousness & Holiness, true linen is an absolute, no wool allowed in His holy and righteous House. And why you ask, they follow the instructions well.
A true Priest/ Servant...knows rebellion brings certain death.... Paul the Sagan Priest before YAHshua showed powerful reverence with this statement..." I work out my salvation with fear and trembling" we would be well advised to understand his reasoning.
The other priest/pastor more likely using the promotions of man, no real reproof or correction, no desire to hear from the Ruach in guidance, skips over the verses that may be used by the spirit of the l-rd to adjust your walk for His glory.
Unfortunately, the popcorn and carnival tricks used to keep your interest, however may not be enough to sustain you in the times of true trials, the real life fires that the deep rooted word of G-d helps get you through. The Apostate condition is the lack of knowing Him,... therefore He responds with I knew you not.
Friend, This is not a Hebrew thing as today's covetous church teaches,....this is a G-d' thing and He always gets His way, His truth, His life into you, through knowing and abiding in Him. John 15:7
Walking with HaShem/the Most High', we need to let truth have its perfect work in us, the word of G-d will renew us, strengthen us and perfect us for His good, only then will you be mightily used of the lord filled to overflowing in His truth.
This verse in Revelation 3:18 puts it well "I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, that you may become rich; and white garments, that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes, that you may see .... Ah the fire we go through to equip us for the journey...May Adon' receive the glory.
More is written regarding the Linen; ...........
Rev: 15:6 And out of the temple came the seven angels having the seven plagues, clothed in pure bright linen, and having their chests girded with golden bands.
Rev: 3:5 "He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels."
Rev: 19:14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. The fine-twined, white linen speaks of righteousness and typifies Jesus, the Son of Man, spotless, pure, and sinless.
Ist. Yochannon 3:3-5 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure...and you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no Rebellion.
In Genesis,41
We know the story of Yoseph, however look at the blessing from Pharaoh to him..
Gen 41:41(HNV) Par`oh said to Yosef, "Behold, I have set you over all the land of Egypt."
Gen 41:42 Par`oh took off his signet ring from his hand, and put it on Yosef's hand, and arrayed him in robes of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck,
Gen 41:41(kjv) And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Yoseph's hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck
And look at how the tabernacle is built with fine linen
Exod.26 HNV Exo 26:1,31,36 "Moreover you shall make the tent with ten curtains; of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, with Keruvim. The work of the skillful workman you shall make them.
vs [31] And thou shalt make a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with Keruvims shall it be made:
vs [36] And thou shalt make an hanging for the door of the tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework.
Lets read Zechariah 3. ..This has special meaning to me...
Zech.3 vs[1] And He shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the L-RD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.
[2] And the L0RD said unto Satan, The L-RD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the most high G-d [HaShem] that hath chosen Yerushaleyim rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?
[3] Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.
[4] And He answered and spake unto those that stood before Him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
[5] And I said; Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by.
[6] And the angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua, saying,
[7] Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.
[8] Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.
[9] For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
[10] In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig tree.

A little History of the Priesthoods...
Josephus mentions a certain Essene teacher named Judas living in Jerusalem in 104 B.C.E.13 Later, Josephus reports, the youthful Herod the Great met an Essene named Menahem.14
According to Josephus, the Essenes were one of three major Torah schools; the other two were the Pharisees, who were mostly lay people, and the Sadducees, the aristocratic and powerful priestly class of Jerusalem. The nucleus of the Essene movement was made up of Zadokite kohanim, or priests.
From the time of Solomon, the Temple's high priests had come from the house of Zadok, a son of Aaron, from whom the founders of the Essenes descended.
After the successful second-century B.C.E. revolt of the Maccabees and the reestablishment of an independent Jewish state, the Hasmonean kings (from the Maccabee family) assumed not only the kingship but also the high priesthood. The king and high priest were one. The Zadokites among the Essenes considered the non-Zadokite priests usurpers and declared their Temple sacrifices illegal. The Essenes refused to take part in Hasmonean sacrificial offerings and adhered to purity rules far stricter than those the Temple authorities were enforcing.
Even the Essene calendar was different. The Temple authorities maintained a lunar calendar; the Essenes followed a solar calendar, which consisted of exactly 52 weeks per year, that is, 364 days. According to this calendar, festivals always fell on the same day of the week. Thus, Rosh Hashanah (the Feast of Trumpets), Passover and the first day of Sukkot (the Feast of Tabernacles) always occurred on a Wednesday. The Essenes considered the solar calendar used by the Hasmoneans in the Temple, tied as it was to a 354-day lunar calendar, to be adulterated with Babylonian elements. For example, the names of the months-Nisan, Shevet, Adar, Tishri-were Babylonian. The difference in calendars created a terrible discrepancy in holiday observance, with the Temple authorities and the Essenes celebrating festivals on different days. This naturally created a sharp rift between the two groups.
The most popular and influential of the three Torah schools was that of the Pharisees.They were less radical than the Essenes and were ready to compromise with the Sadducees and, to some extent, cooperate with the Romans
According to Josephus, the Pharisees numbered six thousand; the Essenes,, four thousand.15 The contemporaneous Jewish philosopher and exegete Philo of Alexandria gives the same number of Essenes.16 Like Josephus, Philo reports that the Essenes "are living together in large communities in several cities of Judea and in many villages."17
Because of the Essenes' strict purity rules (among other things, sexual intercourse was forbidden in Jerusalem, and at least some members were celibate), we may assume that they lived in their own section of the city. It is presumed that the Gate of the Essenes, led to the Essene quarter of Jerusalem on Mount Zion.

We all want to serve the L-rd when we find out our true purpose in Him however we as well have to walk according to His statutes and commands in order to get His best for our lives, a worthy recommendation to those desiring a closer walk to the L-rd

This everlasting word of Instruction is absolutely pivotal in a believers life, line upon line, precept upon precept.....The One we call Messiah is on the way to the Cross' /Roman Killing stake
These pivitol words penned in Yochannons writings are for you to sit up pay attention .....These last and final instructions before the atonement/Shed covenant blood are crucial to our walk today.
We can't just look like we have it going on, a big facade.
In order to inherit the fullness of the promises, rightfully ours in Ha'shem, we must exhibit morality and scriptural character, first and foremost Holiness and integrity, along with the tenacity to endure this worlds issues by the stregenthing of YAHweh's pure word...From Torah-truth the Navi's [Prophets] and the psalms which are filled with the golden nuggets of the Masters word...We must Internalize the words of Strength and courage to face todays onslaught against the Faith of those who walk the walk.Friend, we need reverence to who we serve and we receive it by Faithfulness and obedience.
as it is written:Remember along your Journey...
"All scripture is given by inspiration of G-d, and is profitable for doctrine,... for reproof,... for correction,... for instruction in righteousness: V17 That the man of ElElyon may be perfect,... thoroughly furnished... unto all... good works".2nd Timothy 3:16-17...
......This was one of the most important teachings placed into my Ruach in my early years of ministry by the prophet Al Green, from Green pastures ministries, Oregon, USA.
A lesson in which I have never forgotten
In YAHweh's truth will we be trusted and because of His truth permeating us through and through we are led as Servants /More so as Witnesses to the "greater works" we do for His Glory in this earth.
